Jubilee Arts
As artist-in-residence at Jubilee Arts in west Baltimore I worked to support the mission of the organization in a variety of ways: to connect the past to the future through arts education.
I implemented a variety of programming for youth ages 6 to 18, managed the gallery, and participated in multiple special projects on including an installation at the WaltersMuseum on which I worked as studio and teaching assistant artist to Herb Massie, and an event in April 2018 connecting the 50th anniversary of the assassination of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, and the 2015 uprising through pairing local artists and residents, in which I worked as curator, facilitator and grant-writer.
While artist-in-residence I created a public arts class for youth 6-11, called art outside, facilitated ceramic product design and manufacturing with the teen cooperative, Youth in Business, that operates out of Jubilee, and taught youth ceramics.
I continue on as the ceramics instructor for Youth and Youth in Business, the ceramics shop manager, and the current outreach coordinator.
